Youth are the future of the country, if they are given proper guidance and care, they can crave the future in such a way that countries can prosper in a great extent. Quality Education, Proper Guidance and Appreciation, Proper trainings and Leadership skills and bright opportunities ahead can excite them and can push them to the acme of success. Those countries who have invested in youth have excel like anything so youth’s perception and their approach can be the next face of the country. Countries vision get depended upon youth’s parameters and government give much priority for such activities. When the PM of Singapore was asked about the racketing pace of their success, he said our vision and encouragement of youth for the nation development was the key for their progress. He also said that youth are the unshaped mud which can be formed to any extend, they have strong determination and every approach that we take care of considering youth can bring solid result. I sometimes get to interact with many youths from many countries and when brainstorming with them I sense every youth being concern for their country and the world. Youth from developed countries are packed with so much of positivity that they think they can bring the wonders to the world and they believe in strong network, collaboration and continuous change. In the same extend, youth from developing countries also have the same energy and expectation but the instability and lack of proper vision in their leaders drag their power. All in all, the politics in a country can influence many parameters which can direct the countries development. It is believed that if you want to be genius, you need to surround yourself with more genius among you so the platform provided to the youth would determine where we are heading to, frustrate youth, unemployed youth, educated but uneducated mindset, challenges everywhere can drag youth’s power to negativity and at the end everyone have to pay for such.
Nepali are considered to be the friendly and helpful people all around the world, we take decision from our heart before taking it to the brain. Once a professor from japan said “Nepalese youth have so much of potential and caliber and if the country can utilize them properly, you have so much to get in the upcoming days, you people are sitting in the source of treasure, only thing you need to do is, identify it and explore it, for exploring, you have enough and right manpower within your country and those are youth but the person who needed to identify it is somewhat lacking in Nepal and that is political parties which rule the country”. I think that this is the best word I heard from anyone, if our government can identify such areas and help to enhance it by providing the resources and platform and inspire the youth for their involvement than it can have a massive impact. Now, how much we talk about these things, the key to all get trapped in the political situation of the country so what really our youth want from the politics of Nepal. I myself ask many a times about these things, why are we not been able to developed in such an extend when our neighbors have pushed the boundaries long back. The instability and lack of strong vision is where we lack and if this situation get extend than we can’t bring the change in the country that we are working for. Is changing the political parties can help us, I think only two alternatives can work on either political parties need to rectify themselves and be wise enough to bring change in themselves before bringing change to the country else alternatively we need the visionary and wise new political parties that need to take in charge of the countries thrown.
It’s the time where Political parties need to make a concrete decision about, they want to die being a leader of a poor country or they want to die being a public of a strong and rich country. There is a great opportunity for the leaders as we can bring changes in many areas and be the change makers else every leader would be limited to be the person who would be blamed for such weak leadership by their offspring’s. So, now the brainstorming gets heated up about what politics need to address to boost youth power and utilize them for the absolute development of the nation. For me if we can take solid steps in Corruption, Education, Health, Mega projects and Opportunities than I think our system can crack the ambiguity that we are facing now. For this we also do not need the extreme visionary policies but we only need the wise personality who can focus and implement the ideas without any hassles. We do not want our countries to be like Singapore or any such but we want our country to explore in our own extend which can be sustainable and be the youth garden. If our political leaders can take concrete oath against corruption than I think we can arrange maximum of the budget within ourselves. Corruption is the key hole for the drain of the government’s wealth. The countries with maximum corruption have the worst governmental situation but the person ruling the system are rich enough and do not have any problem. If we have the right person in right place who can rule over this corruption than I think any countries do not have to get depended to any other countries. Meanwhile, education is also another key where you can create lots of manpower with brain and ideas so education in the country need to be free to all. It can come up with certain terms and condition such as those who have completed the free education need to contribute at least 8-10 years to the countries development process and utilize their education for the country. I think government can take lots and can revive their investment if can come up with such scheme for the education. Quality education can never be acquired from money but it can be acquired from the perception that you are driving with. Revolution can flash up if such scheme can be rendered to the country and believe me proper planning and wise move can always support the vision. The third thing that need to be workout is about the health, if health access is made free In the country than we can prosper in many ways, it not only help to built up the confident among our people but also helps to increase the productivity and can helps to reduce the corruption in great extent. I believe that people want to secure their offspring and their family’s health and education and if these things would be taken care of than corruption can be controlled extensively.
If we want the sustainable ways of income than I think working in mega projects such as hydropower’s, tourism development projects and schemes need to be priories, we can attract our inhouse investors to do so and make involvement of public through share distribution scheme would help us to arrange the budget of such project and precise plans and strategies to execute it with top most priority can help us tremendously for sustainable incomes. We might face some difficulties in the initial phase of the project but once the project would be in beta phase than I do not think payback would be that much hard for us. Tourism in Nepal can be of utmost possibilities because today’s people want exposer and they are ready to pay any amount for the same. We can see the best example of Singapore and Thailand. If those countries can explore in such extend than why can’t we use our nature for the tourist destination. Investing in such can help us to grow exponentially. I can remember one of my Canadian friend pose me when we were on our hike to Shivapuri, he asked me why can’t Nepal have its own system such as a cable car for instance which can take up to mount Everest or nearby mount Everest and return easily to Kathmandu, why can’t you built a best tree hotel in the middle of the forest where we can reach through cable car and stay for 2,3 days and get the pleasure of the nature, why can’t you have cable car which can take us to the place where we can ski and take the pleasure of snow and return back Kathmandu within 3,4 hours if such facilities can be created than I do not think people would look up their budget and such innovative approach in your own local ideas need to be integrated, if this happens you people never have to be dependent for anything. Its something like you are staying in the pile of money and looking around for the money, this implies that the country’s political situation is not stable and the manpower in the politics are not capable enough for such.
I think if we can take care of such innovative things, heading for prosperity and increasing opportunities can never be limited. The political parties with just a mouth and words is the only reason for our backwardness and if those political parties wouldn’t rectify themselves than I think even their own offspring wouldn’t respect them in future. Just in jest, one bitter truth is we might have money and can make our offspring to take to any country and make them the capable person in that country. Your first generation might have some sympathy to the innate country and their elders but after some generation, even you are not going to be remembered by your offspring because those countries would have such trends so its up to you, you want to make the country poor and make your offspring rich so that they won’t stay or explore here in the country or you want to be the leader of prosper country where your offspring gone explore and your offspring gone feel proud for what you have done and be remembered forever. So, it’s the high time for political parties to take step for it and considering youth and channeling their strength properly can help to achieve this sustainably. Change is what today’s youth wants from our political parties.….
